Corsa Race Car - c/w TMS stage 5 Astra VXR engine
Page update - June 20th 2011
A brand new website has been created to cover the progress and development of the ex TMS Corsa SRI race car now it has been fitted with the Astra VXR (400+bhp) engine.

Why buy the TMS Corsa Race Car?
As the Astra VXR engine conversion project continues it has become apparent that the best way forward, both technically and commercially, would be to complete the whole engine conversion in the TMS race car rather than switching out the engine, after the initial dry run installation, and completing the conversion in my own Corsa VXR Racing car.
This way I will preserve the current TMS stage 3 specification on my Corsa VXR Racing car and, ultimately, end up with a second Corsa built to the ultimate track/road performance specification.
Consequently, I have decided to purchase the TMS Corsa race car which I will run alongside my Corsa VXR Racing car.

Bodywork colour schemes
In it's present condition the Corsa race car bodywork is black. I propose to brighten the bodywork up to reflect more the car's race/track specification. I probably will retain the black paintwork for the bonnet and front end areas blending into either orange or yellow from the "A" post rearwards.
Rather than a respray I probably will use vinyl wrapping to achieve the overall colour scheme since it is easy to revert to the original black paintwork or to make changes to the colour scheme in the future.
